Union Town Manager Jay Feyler invites all Union residents to the 4th annual Information Meeting Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the town hall.
"Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions that are not normally allowed in a formal setting at town meeting," Feyler explained.
Questions about budgets, roads, taxes and other topics will be answered. The only exception is any question regarding personnel issues.
A newsletter sent out to townspeople says, "Local government begins with you! Be part of it."
Participants are asked to bring a dessert to share. Coffee and water will be provided.
The newsletter also notes the town is seeking volunteers, a civic group or individuals to keep Union Founders Day going. The Board of Selectmen has handled all the affairs of the Founders Day event for the past few years, however several members are no longer able to dedicate the time necessary. Anyone interested should contact a board member or the town office.
