The Busline League soccer scene has been a busy one in recent days with many Midcoast teams taking part in contests on the pitch in boys, girls and coed action.

The following is a recap of reported results:

Coed soccer

Lincolnville 5, Vinalhaven 1

At Lincolnville Sept. 12, the Lynx jumped out to a big first-half lead and coasted to victory over the islanders.

Morgan Mercier tallied two goals for Lincolnville, while Kieran Lydon, Andy Pitcairn and Avery Grindle each scored one for the hosts. Jacson Mooers and Sam Novak each minded the net for the Lynx.

Hope 7, Camden-Rockport 0

At Hope Sept. 12, the Hawks soared past the Schooners and picked up the shutout win.

Max Pushaw, Joah Welt and Jorgen Ostensen all scored two goals apiece, while Bryce Tyler added the final tally.

At Bristol Sept. 10, the Schooners were blanked by the host Cougars in convincing fashion.

"The Schooners showed some real hustle against the older Bristol team, but despite their efforts they were unable to get many shots on the Bristol goal," said Schooner coach Kristin Nelson. "Bristol demonstrated some fancy footwork and good passing, allowing many shots on goal."

Ezra Leavitt and Simon Turner played in goal for CRMS and denied many of Bristol's attempts.

Hope 9, Lincolnville 3

At Hope Sept. 10, the Hawks soared past the visiting Lynx, scoring nearly at will with a six-goal victory.

Leading Hope on offense were Max Pushaw (2 goals, 2 assists), Joah Welt (goal, assist), Aiden Roberts (2 goals), Braydon Swan (2 goals), Bryce Tyler (goal, 2 assists) and Laticia Billings (goal). Morgan Mercier and Dawson Allen (two) added assists for the Lynx.

Girls soccer

Oceanside 8, Searsport 0

At Searsport Sept. 12, the Mariners blanked the host Vikings and prevailed by a convincing margin.

Sydney Hall booted three goals for the winners, while Sierra Beal and Kelsey Brooks each added two and Lili McVetty one. Rachelle Thompson and Mckayla Paulsen minded the net for Oceanside.

Camden-Rockport 9, Troy Howard 1

At Belfast Sept. 12, the Schooners sailed to a big win over the host Lions.

Charlotte Messer scored four goals for CRMS, while Abby Chamberlain added two goals and Izzy Gutheinz, Emily Blackwell and Emma Vannorsdall each one. Olivia Lovejoy scored the lone goal of the game for Troy Howard.

Camden-Rockport 5, Medomak 1

At Rockport Sept. 10, the Schooners prevailed in convincing fashion over the visiting Riverhawks.

Charlotte Messer scored two goals for the Schooners, while Zoe Zwecker, Lara Cazemajou and Izzy Gutheinz had one goal each. Morgan Smith scored the lone goal of the game for the Riverhawks. Nicole Obuchon and Chelsea Ripley split time in net for MMS.

Medomak 4, Searsport 0

At Waldoboro Sept. 8, the Riverhawks bested the young Vikings in a competitive game that was scoreless in the first half. Medomak pulled away with four second-half goals, including two each from Alika McMurrin and Taylor Smith and an assist from Amber Hagin.

Boys soccer

Camden-Rockport 3, Medomak 2

At Rockport Sept. 10, the Schooners held on for a one-goal victory over the Riverhawks.

Simon Morin scored two goals to lead CRMS and Matt Morse one, while Zidane McMurrin scored two goals to lead MMS, and Cameron Robinson minded the net for the Riverhawks, making a bundle of terrific saves.

Camden-Rockport 4, Oceanside 0

At Camden Sept. 8, the Schooners rolled to a shutout win over the visiting Mariners.

Andrew Gross scored two goals for the Schooners, while Morse and Devin Vangel each added one in the victory. Maddison Jordan made a few "crucial" saves at the end of the first half in goal, said Schooner coach Dwight Pitcairn.
