After 63 regular-season and 15 playoff games, it will come down to one final meeting between two squads for all the marbles in the Camden Adult Coed Softball League.

While the No. 1 Knox County Benchwarmers and No. 2 Camden Herald Redwings will not actually be playing to win marbles, they will battle one final time to win the coveted league championship cup, held tightly by Misfits the past eight years.

A winner-take-all finale was made possible when the Redwings, coming from the losers’ bracket, defeated Benchwarmers 15-3 Wednesday night, Aug. 22 at the Camden Snow.

Thus, the two squads will meet for the title on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Snow Bowl.
