Week 8 of the Waldoboro Recreation Department’s second annual “Summer Run For Fun” program was held Aug. 15 at Medomak Valley High School, with Aric Odone (17:34) and Angela Russ (21:06) the top male and female finishers.

Seventy-four runners participated in the series this year.

The program’s awards ceremony will be Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. at MVHS.

10-and-younger age group (1.037 miles): 1, Logan Odone, 8:26; 2, Emily Harris, 9:24; and 3, Finnegan Calderwood, 13:24.
