Trackside Station Restaurant and The Loyal Biscuit Co. are again teaming up for a fun fundraiser for the Humane Society of Knox County. Everyone is invited to stop into Trackside Station Monday, Oct. 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. for Pints for Paws, a social for animal lovers for the benefit of animals.

The evening will feature entertainment by local musician Paddy Mills and raffle prizes from Loyal Biscuit, Sea Dog Brewing, Maine Eastern Railroad, RHEAL Day Spa, Canidae Pet Food and Fromm Family Pet Foods, as well as giveaways and more. For every pint of beer sold, Trackside Station will donate $1 to the Humane Society.

The Humane Society of Knox County also will be present and will have their tote bags made from recycled dog, cat and feed bags available for sale, as well as their new 2012 calendar featuring local rescue dog and cats.

Attendees of all ages are welcome and are asked to bring an item to donate to the shelter — canned dog or cat food, paper towels, gallons of bleach, old towels or blankets, etc.

When the two companies teamed up in April to host their first Pints for Paws, they raised $1,057.37 for the Humane Society. The owners said they hope to top that number. Trackside Station is located at 4 Union St. For more, information visit or; or call Trackside at 594-7500 or Loyal Biscuit at 594-5269. Due to the location, pets are not allowed at the social.
