Santa Claus is coming to town! The jolly man in red is gearing up for another Christmas season, but he knows how good all of the cats and dogs at the Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League have been this year, so he’s made special plans to stop by and wish them all a very merry Christmas. While he is here he has agreed to spend the day at Adventure Advertising on Route 1 in Rockport to let all of the other good pets in the area come and have their picture taken with him.

Saturday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is the day and Adventure Advertising on Route 1 in Rockport, just south of the Hannaford Plaza, is the place. Photographer Joe Corrado will be there to capture the joy of pets whispering their Christmas wishes to Santa.

The fee is $20 for the first pet in the photo with Santa and $10 for each additional pet in the same photo and everyone will get an unframed 8 by 10 portrait to keep and enjoy. Other packages will be available for purchase. These will make great Christmas cards and gifts for the animal lovers in one’s life.

The Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter established in 1974 to care for lost or abandoned companion animals until they can be placed in permanent and loving homes. We currently contract with seven towns in the mid-coast, including Rockport, Camden, Lincolnville, Northport, Belfast, Islesboro and Knox.

Please call the shelter at 236-8702 to set up an appointment or for more information, or visit the website at crarl.org.
