The Laws, an award-winning Canadian folk-grass duo with 10 years and one million miles on the road, will be the featured performers for this year’s Community Concert Saturday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Owls Head Transportation Museum, Route 73.

The free concert is open to all ages but because seating, which begins at 6 p.m., is limited, reservations are required. They may be made online at owlshead.org.

The Laws perform at venues across the United States, Canada and Australia including an appearance on “Entertainment Tonight.” This spring, they released their sixth CD, “Try Love.” John and Michele Law kick off the album with the line “I believe in love at first sight,” as the recording marks The Laws’ 10 years as a couple. The song serves as a perfect introduction to the duo’s essence.

“We are a happy positive couple and we love playing music together,” they said and they have been doing just that for a decade.

Concertgoers can tour one of the finest collections of pioneer-era aircraft and automobiles in the world before the music begins at 7 p.m. The museum is a mile south of Rockland.
