The Waldoboro Police Department reported the following activity from Sept. 20 through Sept. 24.

Sept. 20

Officer Jeremy Joslyn summoned Kathleen Thornton, 51, of Union for having no insurance.

Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on Manktown Road at 5:45 p.m. Beth Morrison, 32, of Somerville was driving a 2006 Honda passenger car. Debra McLean, 42, of Waldoboro was driving a 2005 Dodge pickup truck. The Honda was parked legally. McLean was attempting to pull into a parking space and struck the Honda on the rear driver’s side.

Sept. 21

Officer Joslyn arrested Benjamin Burgess, 32, of Warren on a violation of conditional release.

Sept. 22

Officer Sean Kozer investigated an accident on Kaler’s Corner Road at 3:36 p.m. Nancy Packard, 68, of Waldoboro was driving a 2004 Toyota passenger van. As Packard was looking for a parking spot, she backed into a Hannaford trailer. There was no damage to the trailer.

Sept. 23

Officer Jeffery Fuller arrested David Hidden, 73, of Waldoboro for operating under the influence and refusing to submit to arrest.

Sept. 24

Officer Fuller arrested Jessie Gehrmann, 25, of Waldoboro for a violation of conditional release.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
