The Friends of the Thomaston Public Library has announced there will be no Friday evening movies for the month of October. The series will restart in November with the theme Femme Fatale.

On Nov. 4, the series will screen “The Devil is a Woman” starring Marlene Dietrich. The next film will be “Mata Hari” with Greta Garbo on Nov. 11. For Nov. 18, the Friends will show Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford in “Gilda”; and on Nov. 25, the film will be “Niagara” with Joseph Cotton and Marilyn Monroe.

All films are shown at the Thomaston Academy Building free to the public, although donations are appreciated.
