The Whole Health Center in Bar Harbor, one of the state’s longest running holistic therapy and education centers, will offer a free series of evening classes in Camden this fall in honor of its 30th anniversary of service in Midcoast Maine.

The seven classes will run Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. between Oct. 4 and Nov. 15 at the offices of Camden Whole Health, 91 Elm St.

Whole Health Center Director, Paul Weiss, who teaches regularly in Camden, will address issues of consciousness and human development from both the psychological and the spiritual point of view. The successive classes will take a fresh look at the nature of the brain, the heart, the breath, physical vitality, communication, growth, and enlightenment. The classes will be a mix of teaching, experiential learning, and group sharing, leading towards building a shared experience of what Weiss calls, “our human capacity for conscious loving presence.”

The classes will be free, or by voluntary donation, in order to make it easier for interested people to participate in the whole series. People may register or get more information about this class series by calling The Whole Health Center at 288-4128 or by email at thewholehealthcenter.com.
