Local folk musician Bob Stuart will perform his children’s program at the Coastal Children’s Museum Saturday, Oct. 8 from 1 to 2 p.m.

Stuart has been singing along the Midcoast of Maine for more than 30 years and has developed a reputation for his wonderful voice, his guitar and banjo skills and the bounty of his original and traditional songs. He will be sharing all these talents with the children and families who come and see him with songs about waltzing with bears, dandelions, little black cats and old dogs named Fod. This is a concert that will have children of all ages singing and dancing along.

The concert will be held above the children’s museum in the Sail, Power & Steam Museum located at 75 Mechanic St. Admission is included in the price of admission, free for CCM members. To reserve a spot, call the museum at 596-0300 or send email to info@coastalchildrensmuseum.org.
