The St. George and Thomaston Recreation Departments are pleased to offer a senior citizen’s charter bus trip to the Cumberland County Fair on Thursday, Sept. 29.

Admission to the fairgrounds is included in the trip so once inside, seniors will be free to enjoy the many exhibits, shows and pulling events. There are dozens of buildings and acres and acres of fairgrounds, so walking can be extensive. Some space is available on the bus if seniors need to bring a wheelchair or a walking aid.

The trip is free to resident senior citizens of St. George and Thomaston. The non-resident fee is $25 for senior citizens age 65 and above, $35 for ages 50-64.

The St. George bus will load at 7:30 a.m. at the town office in Tenants Harbor and the Thomaston bus will load at 7:45 a.m. at the Knox Hotel, Main Street in Thomaston.

To sign-up for the bus trip, call the St. George Town Office at 372-6363.
