Michael Edgecomb of Spruce Head was recently nominated by Gov. Paul LePage to serve on the Loring Development Authority.

He appeared before the Maine Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Labor, Commerce, Research and Economic Development on Sept. 21 and his nomination will be considered by the Maine Senate this week.

Established as an independent state authority in 1993, the Loring Development Authority of Maine is managing and developing the Loring Commerce Centre in Limestone, formerly Loring Air Force Base.
