On Camden Harbor, against a backdrop of schooners, mountains and turning leaves, 100 artists will display fine art and crafts Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, during the Carol Sebold HarborArts Juried Arts & Crafts Show. This autumn tradition draws artists from around the country to display, discuss and sell their work in Camden.

The show features an eclectic mix of established and emerging artists in a variety of disciplines. Last year’s event drew more than 4,000 visitors. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

“You will see the entire Camden Harbor full of white art tents. Every square inch that we can cover with art tents we do: the streets, the hilltop, the hollow and the waterfront,” said Alicia Bagnall, special events coordinator for the Camden-Rockport-Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to the visual arts, guitarist and singer Carolyn Currie will add to the HarborArts atmosphere this year.
