The Camden Public Library’s Fall Book Sale will be held over three days, under the tents, rain or shine, from Sept. 30 through Oct. 2. The sale is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The library’s book sales are managed and run entirely by volunteers.

“Proceeds from the sale will go directly to continuing library operations and services that the greater Camden area has come to expect,” said Don White, book sale chair, in a news release. “This is a grand opportunity to stock up on books of all sorts. There are more than a thousand children’s and teens books. The selection of novels is unprecedented! For those who enjoy cooking, there are recipes galore in our collection of cookbooks. We have books on health, finance, history, memoirs and biographies, sports, marine, Maine, art and reference. Paperbacks are aplenty too!”

“The winter winds are coming,” White added, “and for those who love to travel via books during the colder months, we have books for you! Rain or shine, join us under the tents for our fall event featuring ‘colorful’ books. All books are very reasonably priced.”
