On Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. the Sail, Power and Steam Museum will explore the world of the 3-D photograph.

A talk by John Root, anaglyph photographer, will describe the details of creating and processing the three-dimensional photograph. Slip on the glasses and be instantly astounded by the 3-D depth and reality of a variety of maritime and natural subjects.

Ample time for questions and answers and the glasses are free to take home. Come early for free coffee, cookies and good seats. Talk is free, donations always welcome.

Sharp’s Point South and the Sail, Power and Steam Museum are at 75 Mechanic St. in Rockland. For more information on the Sail, Power and Steam Museum and its programs, call 596-0200 or email ssmuseum@midcoast.com or visit the website at sailpowerandsteammuseum.org.
