CAMDEN — The Camden Cemetery Association is requesting that all flower containers be removed from the Mountain View and Oak Hill cemeteries by Oct. 15 for fall cleanup to begin. Flag holders are not to be removed. Fall and winter displays of wreaths and baskets will be allowed after Nov. 15.

CAMDEN — A rash of car burglaries in downtown Camden has the police advising the public to keep vehicles locked. Last week, two burglaries were reported on Sept. 6 from unlocked cars parked on Washington Street. There have been 10 similar cases since June, according to Camden Police Chief Randy Gagne, who said cars should be locked, even in home driveways. Oftentimes, the petty thieves are stealing and attempting to make quick cash by selling items to pawn shops or online swap and sale sites.
