Hot dogs for enrichment

HOPE — Stop by a snack stand on the corners of Routes 105 and 235 in Hope on Sept. 9-11 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for lunch and homemade pie. All proceeds benefit Partners for Enrichment, the nonprofit that brings arts and science enrichment to the Hope, Appleton and Lincolnville schools.

Spruce Head public supper

SPRUCE HEAD — The Spruce Head Community Hall Association will hold a potluck supper on Monday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Community Hall. Please bring a casserole or salad or dessert and a personal place setting. Beverages and rolls will be provided. All are welcome. Annual meeting and election of officers will follow.

Come Spring Quilters to meet

UNION — Come Spring Quilters will be having their first meeting for this year on Thursday, Sept. 22 at the People’s Methodist Church in Union. The meeting will start at 5 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. New members and beginners are welcome.

The group will be starting with a project making quilts for disadvantaged children. Please bring rotary cutters, cutting mats and scraps from your fabric collections. Soup and desserts will be available, bring a sandwich if desired. Lincolnville’s annual 8th grade Fall Car Wash

CAMDEN — Help Lincolnville eighth-graders to raise money for a class trip to Quebec. On Saturday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., eighth-graders will hold a car wash at Keybank in the Hannaford Plaza in Camden.
