In honor of the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, the Waldoboro Fire Department asks the community to stop and remember.

On Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. please cease all regular activity for one minute and, as bells and sirens ring out across the nation, take a moment to honor the victims of the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Fire departments and others have been called on to ring bells and sound sirens as the country observes this Moment of Remembrance.

The members of the Waldoboro Fire Department invite the community to join them at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at the Waldoboro Fire Station (1600 Atlantic Highway) for a brief service concluding with the national Moment of Remembrance.
