Midcoast Music Together is offering a series of free family music and movement demo classes in Belfast, Thomaston and Rockport. The program is geared for infants through age 5 children and their parents/caregivers; siblings are welcome. The fall session of classes will begin the week of Sept. 13.

Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.

The first free class is set for Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Belfast Dance Studio, 109 High St.

The second free class is set for Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Thomaston Yoga Studio on Main Street/Route 1.

The third free class is set for Thursday, Sept. 8 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bay Chamber Community Music School, 18 Central St., Rockport.

The final two free classes are set for Saturday, Sept. 10: from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at Bay Chamber Community Music School in Rockport; and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Belfast Dance Studio.
