How does one manage the many tasks as a mother and still find time for themselves and their relationships? This is the age-old challenge.

Sound familiar? Whether a stay-at-home mother, parenting stepchildren, working outside the home, parenting alone, in transition or a combination of all of this and more –balance and space to breathe is the goal.

Come gather with other mothers to share the conversation. “Being Mom, Being Me….Creating the Balance” will meet the second Monday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Picker Family Resource Center. The first meeting will be held on Monday, Sept. 12.

There is no cost to attend this “drop-in” group, which means there is no commitment to attend every week, just when one can.

The group will be led by Wendelanne Augunas and Robin Spear, two local counselors who are also moms.

Questions? Call Wendelanne at 596-8955.
