The Camden Public Library will hold an indoor book sale on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 27 and 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. “Fiction, non-fiction, gardening, cooking, paperbacks, collectibles — you name it, we’ll have it!” said deputy library director Jamie Ritter in a news release.

“In today’s economically challenged environment, shopping for pre-read books at the Camden Public Library indoor book sale will contribute to keeping your budget in line,” said Don White, book sale chair. “The Picker Room sale will feature more than 750 hardbound fiction books, more than 400 paperback books, and loads of collectible books, cookbooks, health books, history, and biography books. There’s also a healthy selection of children’s and young adult books. Your donated books help make each of our sales a success. We accept donations every day the library is open.”

The library’s book sales are organized and run by library volunteers and are stocked with donated books. The library appreciates the tremendous support from donors and volunteers, and relies on the steady support of the book buyers as well. “Every dollar earned at our book sales goes right back to the library to help pay for new books and programs. What could be better?” added Jamie Ritter.
