Bookwomen Unite is back! With a new and improved format, the book club will hold its first meeting of 2011-2012 on Sept. 20 at 2:30 p.m. in the Thomaston Public Library.

The group welcomes back the 10th graders and the women who made this group such a delightful book club. This year the book club is open to all: male or female; the young or the young at heart; local residents, Midcoast neighbors or visitors from anywhere.

The meeting will kick-off with a work of light-hearted humor and plan to discuss a wide range of topics and authors throughout the year. Please come every month on the third Tuesday or come whenever a title, a writer, or a genre interests is of interest. Readers are responsible for buying or borrowing their own books.
