Throughout the month of August, Rite Way Cleaning of Waldoboro will donate 10 percent of each pet stain or pet urine-related rug cleaning order to the Humane Society of Knox County.

Rite Way owner Mike Fairfield said: “We would like to make more people aware of our authentic oriental rug washing service, and our amazing results in eliminating pet stains and odors from carpets. Pets are clearly an important source of business for us, so this promotion through the month of August is our way of giving back to the animals.”

All of us at HSKC are thrilled at Rite Way’s generosity, and we look forward to a long term partnership with this great local business,” said HSKC Executive Director Tracy Sala.

To schedule a rug cleaning, call Mike Fairfield at 785-3484. If the carpet has a pet stain, mention the words “Humane Society” and Rite Way will donate 10 percent of the cleaning cost to HSKC.

Rite Way’s expert oriental carpet care uses a six-step cleaning process that targets each carpet’s specific needs. Pet urine soiling is addressed using cleaning enzymes and a piece of special equipment that extracts the urine from the carpet.

Rite Way also provides Scotchguard, mothproofing, and upholstery cleaning services. Pick-up and delivery is available on request. They are located at 36 Chapel Road in Waldoboro. Hours are Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more details, call 785-3484, visit, or contact them by email:
