Families and friends interested in Waldorf education are invited to learn about Ashwood Waldorf School’s early childhood program for 3 – 6 year olds at our Early Childhood Open House, Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Bring children to experience sample program activities, play in the classrooms and explore the wooded playground. A craft activity will be offered at 10 a.m., a snack at 10:30 a.m., and a story at 11 a.m. Teachers will be on hand to answer questions about the Waldorf approach to early childhood education. Ashwood supports a young child’s development through artistic and practical work, imaginative play, storytelling, music, circle games, and outdoor play — all experienced in a safe, loving, and beautiful environment. Three-day and five-day class options are available. Please call the school for more information at 236-8021, info@ashwoodwaldorf.org, or visit ashwoodwaldorf.org.

Along with grades one through eight and the Early Childhood classes, Ashwood also offers the Parent/Child program for children 18 months through 3 year olds in three 10-week sessions throughout the school year. Ashwood is now enrolling for the 2011-2012 school year in all programs.
