Union Common book sale Aug. 13

Union Common will be “booked” on Saturday, Aug. 13 as the quiet oasis in the town center hosts the annual Vose Library book and bake sale.

The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain, shine, hail or high water. Readers are warmly invited to come and browse a vast selection of interesting and often unusual volumes, and then to sample the sumptuous variety of baked goods.

All proceeds will benefit Union’s Vose Library… and the minds of those who attend. For more information, call 785-4733.
