A public information meeting will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10 at the council chambers at city hall to discuss the city-wide wastewater system improvements.

Representatives from Wright-Pierce Engineers, Harold Warren Construction and city staff will attend the meeting to answer questions about the project. Residents directly affected by construction and members of the public are encouraged to attend this meeting.

The tentative schedule for the projects is:

Aug. 1 through Sept. 2: Pleasant Street, from Route 1 to the solid waste facility.

Sept. 5-8: Clarendon Street, from Route 1 to Suffolk Street.

Sept. 5-9: Thorndike Parking Area.

Sept. 12-16: Ulmer Street, between City Place and Limerock Street.

Sept. 19-29: Main Street, from Limerock Street to Glover’s Passage.

Oct. 3-28: Limerock Street, from Claremont Street to Main Street.

Oct. 31 through Nov. 18: Cross-country line from 77 Park St. to Claremont Street, via Grace Street and Masonic Street.

Nov. 21 through Dec. 9: Rankin Street (weather permitting), between Fogg and Union streets.
