Island Institute open house

Island Institute members, supporters and the general public are invited to the Institute’s fourth annual open house on Friday, Aug. 12 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the organization’s headquarters building, 386 Main St. in Rockland.

There will be refreshments, door prizes, and special one-day discounts for Island Institute members on selected items at Archipelago, the Institute’s retail store. Visitors may tour the “Vertical Gallery”, featuring four stories of images by Institute co-founder and photographer Peter Ralston, and staff will be on hand to answer questions about the Institute’s programs and resources.
