The Friday night, July 29 outdoor performance of the Belfast Maskers’ “Pirates of Penzance” has been canceled due to the threat of thunderstorms. The run will pick back up Saturday, July 30 to run 7 p.m. nightly through Aug. 6, weather permitting, at the waterfront Steamboat Landing.
The Gilbert & Sullivan production’s first performance July 28 enjoyed an enthusiastic sold-out audience.
Those who are venturing out tonight for the city’s weekly art walk will find some of the cast members singing on the streets.
