Penobscot School will hold a public reception to welcome the international students attending its three-week English immersion course on Tuesday, Aug. 2 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The public is invited to meet the students from Japan, Ecuador, Italy, Spain and France. Light refreshments will be available.
The nonprofit school, celebrating its 25th year in 2011, is located at 28 Gay St. in Rockland. Donations are welcome. For more information call 594-1084 or visit penobscot.us.
