Victoria Wyeth will give an illustrated talk on the leading paintings of Andrew Wyeth Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Friends Community Room of Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St.

Victoria Wyeth is the only grandchild of the iconic artist Andrew Wyeth, the great-granddaughter of renowned illustrator N.C. Wyeth and the niece of the celebrated Jamie Wyeth. She has been speaking about Wyeth art for more than a decade and a half.

The library talk is a lead-up to the Friends of the Rockland Public Library larger event, Victoria Wyeth’s illustrated talk titled Andrew Wyeth: Friends and Family — Portraits over the Years. This illustrated talk will take place Saturday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Oceanside High School, formerly Rockland District High School, 400 Broadway. The Aug. 20 talk, a benefit, will not repeat the content of her library talk.
