The Belfast Maskers will present “The Pirates of Penzance,” Gilbert & Sullivan’s rollicking comic opera, nightly in Steamboat Landing Park Thursday, July 28 through Saturday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m., weather permitting.

A large cast of locals of all ages, Belfast Maskers summer interns and seasoned Gilbert & Sullivan performers are collaborating to bring the hilarious, beautiful and haunting music to life by gorgeous Belfast Bay. Aynne Ames is directing and musical director Jamie Hagedorn will accompany.

Admission is $8 dollars on Thursdays; other nights are $15, $10 for teens and $5 for younger children. Tickets will be available at the park an hour before shows; by calling the box office, 338-9668; or at Yo Mamma’s Home, 96 Main St.
