Senator’s staff to hold office hours in Midcoast

The staff of U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe will hold office hours Thursday, July 14 in Camden and Thomaston.

The senator’s staff also will hold office hours on Vinalhaven on Thursday, July 28.

Office outreach hours are an opportunity for area residents to meet directly with a staff representative to discuss legislative issues or any concerns regarding federal government agencies, such as Social Security, Veterans’ Affairs, and the Internal Revenue Service. An appointment is not necessary.

On July 14, office hours will be held at the Camden Town Office, 29 Elm St., from 10 a.m. to noon and at the Thomaston Town Office, 170 Main St., from 2 to 4 p.m.

On July 28, office hours will be held at the Vinalhaven Town Office, 19 Washington School Road, from noon to 2 p.m.
