“Work, Play, Rest,” an exhibition of paintings, will be on view Friday through Sunday, July 15 through 17 at the Ocean View Grange on Route 131. The show features the work of two St. George artists, Sandra Mason Dickson of Port Clyde and Chuck Paine of Tenants Harbor.

Dickson has a lifelong connection with Port Clyde and Monhegan Island where she maintains a studio and exhibits in the Lupine Gallery. She paints primarily in oils with subjects ranging from landscapes and seascapes to portraits and animals.

Paine recently retired from a career designing yachts and now paints full time. He has branched out from marine painting to landscape and still life in oil. He and Dickson frequently paint together en plein air and currently are studying with Ronald Frontin at Rockland’s Lincoln Street Center for Arts and Education.

“Work, Play, Rest” will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The public is invited to a reception on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. For more information, call 372-6687 or 372-8147.
