Naturalist Gary Roberts of Winter Wren Guides, LLC will be at the Mildred Stevens Williams Memorial Library in Appleton on Thursday, July 21 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for a slide presentation and discussion of native and introduced edible and medicinal plants of Midcoast Maine.

A native Mainer, Roberts summers at Deer Foot Farm in Appleton. He has been a volunteer environmental educator and naturalist at Maine Audubon for more than 25 years. He has led plant walks and natural history trips throughout the state and enjoys sharing his knowledge of Maine, the outdoors, and traditional woodlore with others. Winter Wren Guides, LLC. specializes in guiding from a natural history perspective. This presentation is free and open to the public.
