The Waldoboro Police Department reported the following activity from June 20 through June 26.

June 20

Officer Michel Dutil investigated a hit and run accident on Atlantic Highway at 2:01 a.m. Bruce Cunningham, 23, of Friendship was driving a 1999 Saab four-door sedan that sustained $10,000 in damage. An unknown operator was traveling north on Atlantic Highway and ran Cunningham off the road into a ditch. This is under investigation.

Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a report from a resident that someone stole his weedwacker.

June 22

Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of harassing phone calls.

Officer Fuller is investigating a report from a resident that ATVs are driving on his property.

Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a report of harassing phone calls. The party was found and warned on harassment.

June 23

Officer Fuller arrested Paul Hart, 25, of River Falls, Mass., for domestic violence assault.

June 24

Officer William Bragg summoned Robert Harvey, 18, of Waldoboro for a shellfish violation.

June 25

Officer Fuller is investigating a report from a resident of the theft of his checkbook.

Officer Fuller arrested Paul Hart, 25, of River Falls, Mass., for operating without a license and a violation of conditional release.

June 26

Officer Michel Dutil arrested Steven Martin, 40, of Waldoboro for operating under the influence.

Officer Fuller is investigating the theft of a Sierra GMC pickup truck and an American Bulldog from Irving, while the truck was sitting after getting gas; the truck has a $26,000 value.

Officer Michel Dutil is investigating a report from a resident that someone damaged his four-wheeler.
