Bay Chamber Concerts will present several concerts with groundbreaking trio Time for Three. The trio will perform Wednesday, July 13 at 6 and again at 8:15 p.m. at the Farnsworth Art Museum’s Wyeth Center on Union Street, Rockland. On Thursday, July 14 at 8 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House, 6 Central St., Time for Three will be joined by Curtis on Tour to comprise an eight-member ensemble.

Time for Three features Zachary De Pue and Nicolas Kendall on violin; and Ranaan Meyer on double bass. This popular string trio has been described as the most creative, energetic, exciting and engaging trio since Yo-Yo Ma, Mark O’Connor and Edgar Meyer. They play jazz, classical and more.

Tickets for either the Part I or Part II performance at the Wyeth Center are $30, $8 for youth younger than 19; an adult ticket for both parts is $40.

Three + Curtis = 8

The July 14 concert features Time for Three plus Curtis on Tour’s Hannah Ji, violin; Eunice Kim, violin; Roberto Díaz, viola; Jinsun Hong, viola; Yu-Wen Wang, cello; and Branson Yeast, cello. They will perform music by Bach, Brahms and Mendelssohn.

Adult prime seating is $40 and value seating is $30; tickets for those younger than 19 are $8. Ticketholders are invited to attend a free pre-concert talk featuring the musicians and Bay Chamber artistic director Thomas Wolf at 7 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room.
