“High Summer,” a new exhibit of recent works by the Lively Ladies, will open Friday, July 1 at the Garage Gallery and will continue throughout the summer. The public is invited to an opening reception Wednesday, July 13 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The gallery is located at Eastern Tire Service, Inc., 70 Park St., where open hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Lively Ladies artists are Camden residents Bird Burns and Stell Shevis; Rockland residents Lois Anne, Deborah Winship and Nancy Fitztgerald; Pat Farmer of Cushing; Lauralee Clayton and Elizabeth O’Haverty of Lincolnville; and Searsmont’s Edith LaRoche.
In mid-July, there will be a WABI Channel 5 TV interview of the group by the Eastern Area Agency on Aging. Eastern Tire’s number is 594-5250.
