A group of energetic young boys take time to stand in front of the newly-painted “green monster” in right field at the Lincolnville Little League field over the weekend as their parents and other volunteers spruce up the facility.

The Lincolnville Recreation Committee will host the state Little League 11-year-old baseball tournament Friday through Wednesday, July 22-27.

Many volunteers will be needed for the six-day tournament. Those interested should call Dr. Mike Marden at 763-3133 or Elaine Huber-Neville at 763-3796.
