The Maine State Prison warden has proposed a seven-lot subdivision on Ship Street Circle, according to Code Enforcement Officer Peter Surek.

He said Warden Patricia Barnhart and Sheehan Gallagher have applied for the project and will go before the planning board at its July 12 meeting. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the town office.

Surek said the application is for residential lots. Ship Street is on the southern side of the former Maine State Prison property in Thomaston.

The developers are working with Landmark Corp. out of Rockport.

There are three existing houses on Ship Street Circle.

Surek said the meeting will be the first phase of the planning board’s review of the proposal.
