Henry Lunn, retired educator from Camden, will present a program of living history on the men of the 20th Maine under the command of Joshua L. Chamberlain who stopped the Confederate charge up Little Round Top Mountain at the Battle of Gettysburg.

Lunn, dressed in Union Soldier uniform, will tell the story from the viewpoint of Myron W. Harris of Littleton, who joined the 20th Maine in August of 1862. He will bring to life the hardships of a common Union soldier from enlistment to the Battle of Little Round Top.

Lunn is a member of the Ancient Ones of Maine, an organization promoting learning about the history and the way of life of people in the early 18th and 19th centuries.

The meeting will be held at the St. George Town Office Building at Tenants Harbor on Thursday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m.

A potluck supper will begin at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
