Athletes from the Midcoast and the Augusta area are competing for the Central Maine United U16 boys premier soccer squad, which recently won a summer challenge tournament.
The CMU U16 team is the division champion of the 2011 Coastal Summer Challenge. The squad finished the weekend’s play 3-0-1, including beating Seacoast United NH 4-0 June 19 in the championship game.
