Camden Civic Theatre has cast its big summer show, “Peter Pan The Musical,” a new stage adaptation fresh from London’s West End. The production will open Friday, Aug. 12 at the downtown Camden Opera House with special evening events and prizes. The production will run Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons for two consecutive weekends.

Friday and Saturday performances will feature Tom Crutcher as Mr. Darling/Captain Hook, while the Sunday matinees will feature Rick O’Malley in the role. Jay Rosenberg will perform the roles of Cecco/Indian Chief on the matinees in place of O’Malley.

The rest of the principal cast is as follows: Mrs. Darling, Kate Fletcher; Wendy, Abby Norman; John, Patrick Johnson; Michael, Laszlo Steinhoff; Liza/Tigerlily, Clare Olsen; Nana/Crocodile, Braeden Waddell; and Peter Pan: Stefanie McAllister. The Lost Boys are: Tootles, Devin Fletcher; Nibs, Maxine Buretta; Slightly, Cortney Simmons; Curly, Madison Hemingway; and The Twins, Willow Crawford-Crudell and Nicholas Greer. Pirates/Indians are: Smee, Paul Aron Weintraub; Cecco/Indian Chief, Rick O’Malley (understudy, Jay Rosenberg); Bill Jukes/Running Dog, Liza Morong; Starkey/Cunning Fox, Beverly Scott; Skylights/Bald Eagle, Marcus Carter; Noodler/Grizzly Bear, George Grey; and Mullins/Singing Bull, Erica Dailey.

The CCT production is directed by Scott Anthony Smith, with Lisa Lundgren as assistant director, and music direction is by Joani Mitchell. The production team includes producers David and Rebecca Waddell, executive producer Tiare Messing, stage manager Jay Rosenberg, assistant stage manager Savannah Szumilas, dance choreographer Martha McLean and fight choreographer Jonas Contakos.
