St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 33 Chestnut St, Camden, will hold a Taize service of prayer and song on Sunday, June 26 at 7 p.m. in the church.
This will be a service of prayer, Taize song, reflection and silence. Singing is one of the most essential elements of worship. Short songs, repeated again and again, give it a meditative character. Using just a few words they express a basic reality of faith, quickly grasped by the mind. Meditative singing thus becomes a way of listening to God. It allows everyone to take part in a time of prayer together and to remain together in attentive waiting on God.
Come prepared to be renewed and refreshed. All are welcome.
All areas of the church are handicap accessible via the Wood Street entrance.
