New England Celtic punk band The Pubcrawlers will return to Billy’s Tavern Saturday, June 25, after a stellar performance last fall that left many in the audience unsure if they were still in Thomaston.
The 10-piece band from Portland plays guitars, fiddles, bag pipes, accordions, mandolins and tin whistle offering, in the spirit of The Pogues, a throw-your-fist-in-the-air-and-sing-along mix of Celtic drinking tunes and melodic punk rock.
The band will start playing at 8 p.m.; there is a $5 cover charge. Billy’s Tavern is located behind the business block at 1 Starr St. For more information, call 354-1177 or visit the Facebook page.
