The Rockland Art Market will opens for its fifth season Thursday, June 30. Local artists and artisans will gather under tents every Thursday through Sept. 15 in Mildred Merrill Park, South Main Street/Route 73 just up the hill from the harbor. The site over looks Harbor Park, where the Farmer’s Market happens on the same day.

Rockland Art Market offers a good blend of participants including two painters, a fine woodworker, a folk artist and jewelry in both polymer clay and sea glass, as well as pottery, photography and vintage mixed media. There also will be several guest artists throughout the season.

Market hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, visit rocklandartmarket.org.
