During Waldoboro Day each year, several roads in the downtown area are closed to accommodate the festivities.

As always, Friendship Street (Route 220) will be closed in mid-town from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Traffic will be diverted onto Pleasant Street.

Because of traffic flow on Pleasant Street, no parking will be permitted there during the day.

To allow for the parade and other activities, Jefferson Street will be closed from School Street to Main Street from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 1:30 p.m. Glidden Street will be blocked at Main Street all day.

Jefferson, Mill Street and Jefferson Street at School Street will be closed during the parade (9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.). Philbrook Street will be closed for the fireworks (which take place on Philbrook Field).

There will be restricted access to the Pine Street/Medomak Terrace area via Main Street from 9:30 a.m. to about 1:30 p.m.

Motorists are asked to exercise extreme caution due to the high volume of pedestrian traffic. Please plan on arriving early for the parade due to the limited parking.
