What is normally a full slate of Sunday games for the Midcoast Babe Ruth League saw plans change, with some contests postponed due to soggy field conditions.
One of the local teams that played June 12 was Rockland Café, which saw Nick Mazurek and Hunter Grindle combine on a no-hitter in an 11-0 shutout victory over Damariscotta.
Mazurek worked three innings, allowing one walk with four strikeouts, while Grindle walked one and struck out three over the final two frames.
Leading the Rockland Café offense were Zachary Roman (double, 2 singles, 3 runs) and Cole Chase (2 doubles, 2 runs).
