As part of its major fundraising campaign for the restoration of the roof on the 1854 South Cushing Church, the Cushing Historical Society  is sponsoring an exhibit and sale of artwork by 10 Cushing artists in the lobby of Camden Nation Bank, Main Street/Route 1.

The works feature scenes of Cushing and its people including several of the South Cushing Church, a classic New England structure. Exhibiting artists are David Scriven Crowley, Phyllis Fales, Pat Farmer, Douglas Hartley, George Hoyt, Marieluise Hutchinson, Kelly Mezzapelle, Ann Stein-Aaron, David Vickery and Trish Weisbrot.

The exhibit runs throughout the month of June; for information about the exhibit, call Ann Aaron at 354-0735. Following this fundraising exhibit, there will be a Country Auction and Silent Auction on the society’s grounds on Hathorne Point Road in Cushing ¬†Saturday, July 16.
