A free youth sports program — Five Town Field Hockey Clinic — will be offered Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Camden-Rockport Middle School starting June 28 and ending Aug 9.

The clinic is open to girls entering grades 5-9 in the fall and who reside in Camden, Rockport, Hope, Appleton or Lincolnville.

The clinic is designed to introduce new players to the sport, while challenging the returning players, said Lindsey Clement, current CRMS field hockey coach, former Camden Hills Regional High School standout and director of the clinic. Each session will include warm-ups, stretches, drills, competitions/games and a long scrimmage “so the girls can apply all that they have learned,” Clement said.

For those who would like to participate, a registration form and waiver must be completed and returned to Clement by Friday, June 24. The registration forms and waivers can be found in the main offices of: Lincolnville Central School, Appleton Village School, Hope Elementary School, Camden Rockport Middle School and Rockport Elementary School.

The forms also can be emailed or mailed to perspective clinic goes. Contact Clement by email at lkclement@gmail.com.
